What you will do:
As a Logistics Sales Rep, you will develop and maintain relationships with new clients and provide them with products and services that ensure client satisfaction.
Being a successful candidate, you will demonstrate the capacity to initiate contact to prospective customers via cold calls, emails, and direct customer contact, develop profitable and sustainable sales growth of accounts, identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with clients and architect transportation solutions.
You are also expected to develop solutions and implement strategies for all assigned accounts, prepare and present sales proposals, work independently and manage day to day customer relationships. You should be comfortable speaking and presenting at all levels of the organization and should possess the knowledge, principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling transportation solutions with exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
Identify sales opportunities and develop new accounts. Meet sales goals for new accounts, retain and profitably grow customer base.
Negotiate contract terms, contract structure, etc. Develop compelling proposals and build unique customer solutions.
Manage complex transactional or emotional customer situations promptly and professionally.
Demonstrate the ability to handle and prioritize high call volumes and customers inquiries.
Issue work order, Bill of Lading, Follow up with Carriers, update Clients on their inquiries. Manage key administrative tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
Work independently while supporting an overall team mentality, effectively manage time and self-motivated.
High School diploma or GED. BA or BS degree preferred. One or more years of successful Truckload (TL) or equivalent transportation sales experience. Proficient in relationship building throughout clients. Strong analytical skills. Ability to market and sell truckload solutions. Ability to communicate and negotiate with external prospects, customers and internal staff.
Remuneration (Commission) & Benefits
Remuneration: $40K+ Annually (Salary + Bonuses) based on meeting OTE
